Belle Plaine Rooms Opening on May 15, 2026

Great news, we will begin accepting reservations in both of Belle Plaine's spaces starting May 15, 2026!

Booking Tips

• Booking Limits: You are automatically afforded 1 hour for your booking. You may book up to 4 hours in one session. To adjust, use the dropdown menu that appears to change your end time.
• Buffer Time: The system may add 15 minutes of buffer padding before and after your booking for transitions between groups. Please note this does NOT extend your reservation, you must leave promptly within your reserved timeframe.

Need Extra Space?

If you need extra space, Belle Plaine's flexible divider wall can be moved aside to allow for a bigger room experience! To take advantage, you must submit TWO bookings: one for the Large Room and one for the Small Room. 

Booking during Unstaffed Hours? You'll need a key!

Belle Plaine's Large and Small Meeting Rooms can both be booked outside of regular staffed hours from 6am - 10pm, 7 days a week. To take advantage of this opportunity, you must visit us during staffed hours to pick up a Meeting Room Rental Kit, which contains a keycard to unlock the building along with other helpful accessories.

Pickup Times: You MUST visit us during regular Staffed Hours to check out a Rental Kit. View Library Hours. 

Don't forget your library card: To check out the Rental Kit, you'll need a Scott County Library card.

• Are you a Scott County resident without a library card? No worries, we'll create one for you during your visit. Please bring your driver's license or another non-expired photo ID. 
• Not a Scott County resident? Please bring your library card from your home library system so we may register it in ours.
