Nature Memories Writing Class

Interested in learning to write about your outdoor experiences? We welcome beginners and those who have been writing for years.

COMPAS Teaching Artist and Author Jon Lurie will help your story take shape as you reflect on your experiences in the outdoor spaces of Scott County. This class is offered at the Prior Lake Library. Be sure to bring your own writing supplies!

You also have the option of submitting your work to be considered for inclusion in an anthology to be published by the Library called "River Bluffs to Big Woods."

Find more information on submitting your work on our website

All selections will receive a $50 stipend and copy of the book. You do not need to submit your story to enjoy these workshops.

Visit the library's COVID-19 page for current information on guidelines and services.
