Blank Canvas Teen Art Challenge - October Challenge - NaNoWriMo! for ages 12-18

Create art that tells a whole story! You can write, paint, collage (bookart!), knit, anything on one page to tell us your story.

Art will be displayed in the Teen Area at the Savage Library throughout the month of November in honor of NaNoWriMo. 

*What is NaNoWriMo, you ask? November is National Novel Writing Month.

Na-No-Wri-Mo. You get it!

How do I enter and... Then what happens:

1. Artists ages 12-18, Create art! Please enter family-friendly art as it  is displayed in the library for all to see. The library reserves the right to choose not to display an entry for any reason. Thanks!  

2. Bring your art to the Savage Library, OR upload online at bit.ly/SCLblankcanvas, OR send as an attachment to salibrary@scottlib.org before the first of the month!

3. On the first of the month,  art will be displayed on the Art Wall in the Teen Area at the Savage Library!

4. The art pieces will hang in the library for the month, and then be taken down to make room for the next  Blank Canvas Challenge.  

6. At the end of the month, all participants will be entered to win gift certificates to various book and creative art stores in the area!  Winners will be notified so they can choose from the selection of gift certificates generously donated by the Savage Friends of the Library.
