Story Stations: Under the Sea with Pete the Cat - Elko New Market

Story Stations: Under the Sea with Pete the Cat - Elko New Market

Best for ages 2-5 with parent or caregiver, but all ages and abilities are welcome. Ride along with Pete and friends as you enjoy undersea adventures in this self-directed program. Based on the book Pete the Cat: Scuba Cat, your stations include a shark feeding game, ocean animals scavenger hunt, fish measuring activity, and other fun learning stations. After the program, pick up your take home packet with playdough, jellyfish in a jar activity instructions, and more!

Grown-ups: not only are these stations designed for maximum fun, but they also feature early learning skills to help your child get ready for Kindergarten and ready to read.

Plan ahead or drop-in! Click HERE or call your library to reserve your program time, OR speak with library staff for openings while you visit.

  • Your household will be the only people in the room during your appointment. Best for six or fewer participants.
  • Appointments begin on the half hour and last for 20 minutes. Arriving late may reduce the amount of time you can spend in the program.
  • Participants must be free of COVID-19 symptoms - review symptoms HERE. Unvaccinated individuals are strongly encouraged to wear masks in Scott County buildings, including libraries.
