Summer Spotlight Week 8 Overview

This summer, we're pleased to offer both virtual/at-home activities and limited in-person events. Check out all the events for kids and teens this week below:

Early Learning mini-video: Best for ages 3-6. Appreciate "The World Outside" with Ms Lisa in this special Read & Create mini-early literacy class (and remember to pick up an Art Adventure To Go nature scrapbook project at the library). (New videos wll premiere weekly on Mondays.)

Listen & Create: Best for ages 6-11. Listen to the first exciting moments of the chapter book "The Last Last-Day-of-Summer" (and remember to pick up a To Go sun clock project at the library).

To Go pick up project (Library Locations & Hours):

  • Ages 3-5. Visit the library during open hours to pick up your Read & Create Art Adventure To Go nature journal project - nature journal supplies with activity/instruction sheet included.
  • Ages 6-11.Visit the library during open hours to pick up your Listen & Create To Go sun clock project with sun clock supplies, instructions and activities.

Performer video of the week: Best for ages 3-11; new videos featured weekly on Facebook on Thursdays. This week, enjoy Afoutayi Dance from Haiti, with fun songs that will have you dancing along! You can also watch this and all of our summer performer videos at any time on our YouTube playlist
