Spring Family Adventure Week 1

We've gathered all our videos and activities for kids & families here in one place! Each week will feature new video themes and activities you can complete throughout the week as a family. Best for ages 3 and older (grownup assistance may be required for young children).

Weekly Mini-Early Literacy ClassJoin Ms. Kristy this week for Palace Pals stories and activities.

Get Moving! Silver Medalist Sarah is here to introduce you to a variety of sports and activities. This week, join her as she shows us different activities based on Soccer.

Pick Up!: 

  • Starting Wednesday, April 7, visit the library to pick up a neighbor packet courtesy of TPT featuring a Daniel Tiger activity book (while supplies last). Library Locations & Hours  Update: Daniel Tiger Packets have arrived! They will be available for pickup in your branch according to the following schedule: 
    • Belle Plaine & Elko New Market: Friday afternoon
    • Jordan: Saturday morning
    • New Prague, Prior Lake, Savage, & Shakopee: Thursday afternoon
  • Wednesday, 4/7 through 4/10: Ages 7-18 are invited to pick up a Decorative Birdhouse painting project at their library (no registration; while supplies last).

Sign Up: Check out Spring into Reading 2021, available on the online reading & activity app Beanstack. Our Summer Spotlight reading program will also be available on Beanstack starting 6/1, so this is a great time to try it out! Or you can pick up a paper Spring Into Reading form in the library.
