Hands On At Home: Anishinaabe Bead Arts (LIVE class on Zoom!) - REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Enjoy the expertise of our Hands On! artists in the comfort of your own home! Julie Kastigar Boada of the Fond du Lac people introduces the art of beading. Learn how patterns and colors can reflect tribal and family affiliations, as you create your own beaded work of art.
We'll mail you all the supplies needed for the project before the class, and email a link to join the live class on Zoom. You will need to include your email address in your registration in order to access both the live and the recorded class. Attendance at the live Zoom class is strongly encouraged, as success in the project relies on back and forth interaction with the instructor. If for some reason you are no longer able to attend the live class, let us know and we’ll make a recording available to you.
Funded by the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage (Legacy) Amendment through the Metropolitan Library Service Agency (MELSA).
