The Great Minnesota Cookie Book and Cookie Potluck
From Kolache cookies to cranberry pinwheels and cappuccino treats, the winners from the Holiday Cookie Contest at the Star Tribune have tempted bakers for almost two decades. The almost 80 cookies from the past 15 years have been compiled into the “The Great Minnesota Cookie Book,” by Star Tribune food writers Lee Svitak Dean and Rick Nelson. Meet the authors as they join us to talk about baking, their cookie contest, and holiday traditions. Lee & Rick will answer questions at the close of their discussion and their book will be available for purchase and signing.
You are then invited to stay for the Cookie Potluck! If you'd like, bake up a plate of your own favorite cookie recipe for tasting and sharing - bring along the recipe to share as well!
