ABCs and 1,2,3's: School in Early Shakopee
Shakopee has 12 schools. But many years ago, schools happened in houses, in churches, and in log cabins. Over time, public schools started popping up around the area of Shakopee Learn about some of the schools in the aresa, and how they grew to fit the population who lived in our town.
David R. Schleper is the Vice-President of the Shakopee Heritage Society. The Shakopee Heritage Society (SHS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the heritage for the city of Shakopee, Minnesota.
