Afternoon Academy: Cool Things with Words Writing Workshop - REGISTRATION REQ, begins 10/15

For ages 9-13 ONLY. Can you read minds? Can you give directions? In this class, you’ll discover the key to using creative and precise language to build images in the minds of your readers that will draw them into the world you are creating so they can see exactly what you want them to see. We will do a fun and engaging activity to test your communication skills and learn why how we write things is just as important as what we write.  Funded by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage (Legacy) Amendment.

This class is free but space is limited, so register online or by calling the library. Include an email address in your registration to have a reminder sent to you prior to the event. BE KIND <3 Please be sure you can attend this event before registering, and cancel as soon as possible if you are no longer able to attend. Then someone else can have your spot!

Presenters Krista Boos and Barb Martinez of ExEd Homeschool each have many years of personal and professional homeschool experience and their classes in Minneapolis routinely fill to capacity.
