Planning with the End in Mind
End in Mind is a community engagement project designed to inspire and motivate individuals and families across Minnesota to have meaningful conversations about living and dying well. Join the Scott County Library and the City of Prior Lake/Club Prior for an interesting and informative day that will touch on various aspects of end-of-life planning and decision-making. Classes and discussions are intended to inspire and empower participants.

9:00 - Doors Open
9:30-11:00 Who Gets Grandma's Yellow Pie Plate? - Learn how to plan for the distribution of your personal possessions among family and friends.
9:30-3:00 Resource Fair - Exhibitors will share educational information about relevant topics and services that aid individuals and caregivers as they navigate the many physical, mental, financial and spiritual transitions faced when preparing for the end of life.
11:00-12:00 Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body - Learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use hands-on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging.
11:00-12:30 Writing Your Legacy Letter - Turn your personal story, values, and life lessons into a keepsake to share with friends and family. Registration Required - click here.
12:30-1:30 Boxed Lunch - Sponsored by Augustana Regent at Burnsville and Emerald Crest. Register in advance here.
1:30-3:00 Final Thoughts Panel Discussion - Join us as an attorney, a Probate Court clerk, a doctor, and a funeral director share their experiences and discuss what you need to know about end-of-life matters.
