All-Ages Pumpkin Decorating Event for Shakopee Library's Pumpkin Decorating Contest
For all ages. Join the fun! Come decorate your pumpkin for the Shakopee Library's pumpkin decorating contest. We’ll provide pumpkins (while supplies last) and decorating supplies.
Rules for entry: Pumpkin must be decorated with a literary theme or inspired by a general love of reading, a favorite book, or book character(s). Pumpkin must not be carved. All pumpkins must be dropped off at the Shakopee Library by end of day 10/29/2025 to be considered in the contest. Voting for winners will take place in person at the Shakopee Library and online on the Scott County Library System's Facebook page from 10/30/2025 to 11/2/2025. Winners will be announced on 11/3/2025. Pumpkins must be picked up by end of day 11/5. Any pumpkins not picked up by 11/5 will be discarded.
