Carved Wood Signs with the Mobile Sign Shop, REGISTRATION REQ., Begins 6/11
For ages 3-11 with parent/caregiver. Create your own customized, carved wooden signs, inspired by the vernacular of wooden handmade signs found in State parks and at cabins in Greater Minnesota and beyond with the Mobile Sign Shop! Space is limited and you must arrive within the hour to guarantee your sign; limit one per family.
Register online or by calling the library beginning three weeks before the workshop. Include an email address in your registration to have a reminder sent to you prior to the event.

Note: This event will be hosted on the library lawn.
The MSS provides guidance and prompts on how to make a custom sign along with materials, paint and brushes etc. as well as staff to carve letters with a router. More than materials we provide a location for people to converse while making together!
The Mobile Sign Shop (MSS) is a project by Peter Haakon Thompson - an artist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota whose primary mediums are participation, interaction and conversation.
