Family Fun Spot Activity
Best for ages 3-11 with parent or caregiver, but all ages and abilities are welcome. Visit the Children's Area at your library during open hours this week to enjoy a fun and educational self-directed activity. (Some activities may have small parts not suitable for children under 3.)
Activities are available for one week. This week:
- Belle Plaine: Tangrams - create pictures with shapes and magna-tiles
- Elko New Market: Summer in Bloom - create your own tissue paper flower
- Jordan: Color Craze! - color together with friends and family
- New Prague: Music Explorers - match up sounds and use musical notes to decode a secret word
- Prior Lake: Shake It Up! - can you build a structure to withstand the earthquake machine?
- Savage: I Scream, You Scream, Let's Make Ice Cream - run a pretend ice cream shop
- Shakopee: Letter Quest - use our letter board to make as many words as you can
A new Family Fun Spot is available every other week. Visit your library the weeks of 6/9, 6/23, 7/7, 7/21, 8/4, & 8/18!
