Babies and their parents/caregivers are welcome to join us for our FREE and FUN story- and play-based early literacy classes that use the five important pre-reading practices of "Talk, Sing, Read, Write, and Play." 

Best for ages 0-18 months. All activities will be focused on babies' development, but older siblings are welcome to mirror with a stuffed animal.

Stay after class to connect with other families in our children's area of the library!

Looking for classes for older kids? We also have Preschool class on Mondays at 10:30am and Toddler class for ages 18-36 months on Thursdays at 10:45am.

Storytimes led by library staff trained in the Every Child Ready to Read curriculum are “early literacy classes" - all the fun and learning of storytime, but with tips and guidance on easy ways to help your child develop pre-reading skills.
