Needle Felted Pins for Tweens & Teens; registration req., begins 5/28
For ages 10-18. Make your own one of a kind accessories using wool, a special needle, and a whole lot of stabbing! Needle felting is the art of strategically tangling and compressing wool fibers to form a solid structure. We can make pins that resemble real objects like fruit, insects, flowers or food - or we can just explore colors and texture in an abstract way. Finished projects will get a pin back OR our teaching artist can show us how to attach a loop to use our piece as a pendant.
Space is limited, so register online or by calling the library beginning three weeks before the workshop. Include an email address in your registration to have a reminder sent to you prior to the event.
BE KIND <3 This event has limited space - please be sure you can attend this event before registering, and cancel as soon as possible if you are no longer able to attend. Then someone else can have your spot!
