Tie Dye Tote Bags at Elko New Market - REG REQ, begins 7/4
For ages 10-18. Upgrade your beach gear by making your very own, one of a kind, tie-dye tote bag! We will start with a plain cotton canvas bag and then work with a teaching artist to twist, fold, pinch, and tie our piece to prepare it for dying. Then we will use dye bottles to apply vivid rain-bow of professional fiber reactive dyes. Participants will then take their work home with them in a plastic bag along with instructions for washing and drying their piece once the dye has fully set.
Space is limited, so register online or by calling the library beginning three weeks before the workshop. Include an email address in your registration to have a reminder sent to you prior to the event.
