Eric Carle Animal Collages at Elko New Market - REG REQ, begins 7/3
For ages 3-9 (3-5 with adult). Whether you're a hungry caterpillar, a big brown bear, or a grouchy ladybug, we're sure you already know and love the work of master children's book author and illus-trator Eric Carle! In this fun, multi-media class we will start by making some big, abstract paintings using big colors and lots of texture. Then we will look at some of the works of Eric Carle for inspiration. Finally we will rip up our papers and collage with them to create a color-ful, fantastical animal portrait.
Space is limited, so register online or by calling the library beginning three weeks before the workshop. Include an email address in your registration to have a reminder sent to you prior to the event.
